Press Release : 13 Feb
(A youth movement for peace. We work towards a better feature)
Global Youth Foundation (GYF) today marked an important milestone with the set-up of its new office in Baramulla. The office has been established with a clear purpose to support the people of the community, especially those who cannot afford legal or administrative assistance.
Through this centre, the Foundation will provide free legal aid to the needy, operate a grievance redressal cell, and run a public help desk to guide citizens in resolving their concerns.
One of the key services of the office will be free drafting of applications, representations, and other official documents. People seeking help with government-related matters will be able to approach the office on working days without any charges.
The Chairman of Global Youth Foundation, Touseef Raina, stated that the initiative is aimed at ensuring that no individual feels helpless due to lack of resources or guidance.
He reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to serving society with transparency, dedication, and compassion.
The ceremony was attended by local residents, youth members, and social workers, who welcomed the opening of the office and expressed optimism about the positive impact it will have in the district.
